My new love. Topshop Beauty.

After reading so many beauty tips and realizing how popular the Topshop makeup was, I decided that testing out a couple of items wouldn't harm.

Now I’m really bad at deciding what make up to wear and what is best for my skin, as I do most of the time have very very dry skin. Which isn't ideal! I had read a few blogs about what to use and after looking into it I decided to purchase the Glow Highlighter (Polished) and the Sandcastle Bronzer.

Before applying these to my daily makeup routine, I did watch a few tutorials and looked up where abouts was best to put the highlighter and bronzer on my face, so I didn’t end up looking like a clown! Once I thought I had got the gist I gave it a go and loved it.

Now I hate buying expensive makeup and with these two items’ I’d say they are quite cheap to buy. This Glow Polished Highlighter is £9.00! This highlighter does go a long way; you only need to apply a small thin strip.

Now I don’t know whether I apply it in the right places, but I usually apply a small thin strip on both cheekbones, a small think line on the bridge of the nose, the little indent in my lip and just under my eyebrows.

I have fallen in love with this product, I do honestly think it makes your makeup look a lot more naturally but I also like the little tint of shine it gives off. I also for some reason believe it makes my face look thinner as I do have quite chubby cheeks. (Like a hamster)

The Polished colour is just a nice shimmer colour that doesn’t look fake at all! This is personally why I like it a lot!

Another product that I have grown to love is the Sandcastle Bronzer, which is also at a brilliant price of £9.00. I don’t usually wear bronzer, as I am a blush kind of girl, but after reading blogs I decided to give it a go. I apply this under my foundation on both cheekbones and the bridge of my nose. Usually putting quite a bit on so that it darkens the areas enough to define the area that is covered by the foundation after.

 I also brought a brush blush, not ideal but unfortunately Topshop has ran out of bronzer brushes, so I thought I’d risk it using a blush brush, and it works perfectly. This brush only cost me £8, which for a brush that I think is fantastic is a great price, especially as some brushes can be very expensive. You can get bronzer brushes but I was too excited to try the bronzer out I just brought the blush one! It is very soft and it has a pink end, so I just had to buy it. I guess this is what happens when girls have an obsession with buying makeup and clothes. Help is needed!!

Lush Skincare

I really need to maybe start taking photography lessons!

For Christmas I got some little things to try and make my skin better as I am one of those who suffer from extremely dry skin and recently I became ill and have a few scars on my face from it. So after doing some research I decided that I’d try out these 3 products.

Now a lot of products for the face don’t seem to work for me, or they make my skin even dryer or I end up with a huge break out (which any girl hates) after using this for almost a month now I think all 3 products are fantastic!

To do this routine it does take up some of your time but if you need something that helps your skin you have to find the right solution and stick to it, which in this case is the solution for me.

As you can see all 3 products are from lush and the three products are:

1.Eau Roma Water- Tonner Water. This product is great for rehydrating the skin, which in my case is exactly what I need. I use this after taking my makeup off I spray a couple of squirts onto my face enough to cover it but not absolutely loads, then leaving it on for a couple of minutes to soak in. I then wash it off and apply my next product.

2.9-5 Cleansing lotion- After washing off the Eau Roma water I then get a cotton wool pad and put a small even amount of lotion on my face and rub it in, this helps cleanse and clean my face, again leaving this lotion on for a good couple if minutes. I then wash it off and apply the last product. 

3.Imperialis- Facial Moisturiser. This product smells so so nice; it consists of cocoa butter, tiger lily and orange flower cream. I rub this in an upward motion and again leave for a good couple of minutes. I then wash it off and spray one last spray of Eau Roma water onto my face and leave it on over night.

The pricing of these products is not that cheap however because of the effect I get from it I am willing to pay the amount the price of each product are:

Eau Roma Water- £7.95

9-5 Cleansing lotion- £5.10

Imperialis- £13.50

So now you know my skin routine, if anyone know any good skin products or routine for dry skin feel free to comment, as I would love to hear some other methods from you all!

Nails For Christmas

Every girl loves to get their nails done and be pampered, it’s just so relaxing! On Christmas Eve I went to get mine done for the Christmas period and the New Year.

I decided to get shellac nails because it is supposed to last longer and be better for your nails. I decided that because of the time of year it was I wanted something festive and Christmassy, which is why I decided to go for a dark grey color with red glitter over the top then one finger with a nice Christmas red. The reason for choosing one nail on each hand to be different was because I wanted to change it up a little and go a bit funky. 

The shellac nails polish has actually lasted nearly over two weeks so far and that has been through work and my crazy nights out, so I am very impressed.

EOS My New Favourite

EOS has definitely got to be my new favourite Lip Balm!

These two flavours of EOS are my favourites so far.
Green-Mint
Pink-Strawberry.
I also own a Purple-Passion Fruit and an Orange-Tangerine.

As a child I used to only use Vaseline and becoming older and shopping for my self I stumbled across EOS and automatically swapped and started using these bad boys.

The shape of these are perfect to just be able to quickly apply on the lip and you don't have to put your finger in it!! Hate it, so unhygeneic.

The twistable lid is also an easy feature of the EOS lip balm, just a simple twist and your lip balm is ready to use.

The taste of these, after occasionally licking my lips after putting it on (like when I was a little kid with the skittle lip balms) is actually quite nice. The flavour of each EOS lip balm is very obvious and I like that you can actually smell the flavour they are.

Leaving your lips smooth and smelling gorgeous and extremely tasty!
